My Suggestions For Back To School PC Devices For 2017

We Test so you don’t have to!

We are about a month or so from back to school time and off to college time so these are my suggestions for great economical PC’s with Windows 10 or in 2 cases a Dual Boot Windows and Android. Remember most of these devices will be coming from China, so now is the time to order.

Now remember to choose your devices based on need and not  price or prettiness. Sure you can’t go wrong with a Samsung or Apple but you will probably spend far more than you should.

So let us get right to the list:

  • Number 1 on my list would be the Chuwi LapBook 12.3 with a whole slew of features. It has 6 gb of ram, it has a fantastic hi-res display and decent speakers and lots of ports. You can find the details and a great price on it at this link…right here. It is currently priced at $299 with coupon code Chuwi123. You can find the video review on this one right here.
  • Chuwi Hi12 with a K480 keyboard

Next on the list is the Chuwi Hi12. This server is running on it right now and it has a great display (2160 x 1440)  and amazing battery life. Yes you may want to get a keyboard for it, but I would go with a Bluetooth keyboard and a case/stand., which is what I use.  You can find it right here for under $240. Yes it is a dual boot!

  • Third on the list is the absolutely super Chuwi HiBook Pro. Now I normally run this site on the original HiBook which is great but the Pro model gets you the incredible  super hi- res 2560 x 1600 display and a Z8350 Intel processor. This is possibly the best 10.1 inch tablet you will find with the specs it has which like the Hi12 include 4 gb ram and the ability to use it with an attached keyboard or Bluetooth (smarter), and a dual boot system. The best price I know of is right here.
  • Jumper EZBOOK 3 PRO

One more device here and that is the Jumper EzBook Pro 3 which gives us an Intel Apollo Lake N3450 Quad Core  CPU and a 1920 x 1080 display. It also can be easily upgraded with an SSD to expand storage. Check the post I wrote last month for the video on how this is done. This one is currently selling for $280 on Gearbest.

  • As always I would also suggest checking out Refurbees.com as they carry quite a few decent/fast/low cost laptops!

Incidentally this post was written in the Chuwi HiBook using the Logitech K480 keyboard and yes it is getting a day off road trip!

The HiBook on a Road Trip!

That appears to be all I have for now, but keep tabs on us, we here at HiBook Labs never quit searching for cool stuff!

Today’s Video Worth Sharing: The Chuwi LapBook 12.3 Full Review

CHUWI LapBook 12..3

Today’s video comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTechReviews and is his full review of the Chuwi LapBook 12.3. This is a premium laptop/notebook at a very reasonable price.

It sports a very hi-res matte finish IPS display and 6 GB of RAM. It also has the great feature of being able to add an M2 SSD easily so that means faster disk speeds and lots of storage. The laptop actually has a small removable cover on the bottom so adding the SSD takes about 1 minute or less.

So let us get to the video!

This device is still on sale at Gearbest for a mere $309, so check it out.

That is all for this morning,

Tim

Chuwi LapBook 12.3 Double Feature! Tonight We Have a Review Of The Internals And a Full Review of the Overall Performance!

CHUWI LapBook 12.3

So this actually makes this a triple feature tonight with Andrew’s GPD Pocket unboxing/initial impressions review of the 7 inch mini laptop/notebook and now the short video from Chris over at Techtablets on the Chuwi internals followed by the full review of the Chuwi LapBook 12.3.

So I have posted unboxing videos from both Andrew and Chris on this laptop/notebook so you can find all the specs in those previous videos by doing a quick search or ya could click here.

So let us get right to the technical crap and see some video! First off we have a short video on the Chuwi LapBook 12.3 internals….(and yes, I am 100% aware of the fact I posted this one previously, but I am trying to keep it easier for YOU, the reader)…

And now we offer up the full review from Chris on this tablet. I expect we will have one from Andrew also very shortly…

That will be all for this evening!

Today’s Video Worth Sharing: Internals Of The Chuwi LapBook 12.3

CHUWI LapBook 12.3

As I promised earlier today here is a short video from Chris over at TechTablets. This one covers some info on the Chuwi LapBook 12.3 internals.

It is a bit short, but there simply isn’t that much to see inside these things. Draw your own conclusions, since I don’t game I rarely worry about temps, and as Chris points out those temps can easily be lowered. So just watch and learn.

So below you will find the video and you can still grab one of these nice lightweight notebooks at Gearbest for only $319 for roughly 1 more day.

That is all I have at this time,

Tim
