Today I Happened to Notice The Chuwi Lapbook 14.1 Inch Notebook On Amazon…

Chuwi Lapbook 14.1

So I was perusing Amazon this evening for a deal and I ran across the Chuwi Lapbook 14.1 inch laptop/notebook. This is a very good device and in this instance it is at a reasonable price and if you are in the USA you won’t have to wait for weeks for delivery.

I posted an article back in January, along with a video explaining how to add an SSD to this machine to make it a very useful notebook for everyday use.

If you are looking for a thin, light, Windows 10 PC notebook at a very reasonable price, then I highly suggest considering this device!

Sure, it might cost a few bucks to get an SSD for it to make it perfect, but it will get the job done! Check my previous post for details and specs and the video on it! The current price on Amazon is $269.

That is all for now,

Tim

Chuwi Lapbook 14.1 in Notebook Gets My Attention: video

Chuwi Lapbook 14.1

Since tax time is approaching it is once again time to look at some new hardware. Now there isn’t a thing wrong with my Asus X553SA notebook, but this Chuwi Lapbook does look interesting.

No it isn’t bleeding edge, but it certainly has some positive features at a reasonable price. It is currently at $247 on Gearbest.com. The specs are very good and reviews I have seen are quite positive.

Most important to note here is the fact that the storage can be easily upgraded with an SSD drive. The ram can also be upgraded and the upgrade process is quite straightforward.

The specs are listed below:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel APOLLO LAKE N3450
  • Core: 1.1 GHz, Quad Core  up to 2.2 GHz
  • 4 gb DDR3L ram, expandable to 8gb
  • 64 gb onboard eMMC storage
  • microSD slot, up to 128 gb
  • Display: 1920 x 1080 IPS
  • 2 USB ports, 1 USB 3.0, 1 USB 2.0
  • 3.5 mm headphone/microphone jack

So the product does have some expansion options and below I have included a video review. You can find all the details right here.
