Another Video Worth Sharing: The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13 (2017) UnBoxing And Initial Impressions.

Tonight we have another great little video review from Chris over at TechTablets. As usual it it full of some really helpful and as always nitpicky info! [Don’t get be wrong here, I like the nitpicky stuff, because there are folks who worry about such minor details].

So this video is on the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13 (2017) version and it is basically like last years, a 13.3 inch, glass laminated notebook with an improved I% Intel CPU and improved graphics.

It appears that storage options have been upgraded and there is even an empty slot to a a SATA 3 SSD in addition to the installed one!

So let us get to the video right now!

You can find this item here, although with Chinese Win 10.

I believe that will cover it for this evening,

Tim

Today’s Video Worth Sharing: Speeding Up Read Write Speeds on a Jumper EzBook 3 Pro.

Jumper EZBOOK 3 PRO

This is just a short lesson in how to speed up the slow eMMC read/write speeds on the Jumper EZBook 3  Pro which I posted about a short time back.

This one comes to us from Chris over at TechTablets and as usual when messing around in the BIOS, be very careful which settings you change!

So lets get to the video!

This laptop is currently priced at $280 on Gearbest

That will be all for right now,

Tim.

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing, Jumper EZBook 3 Pro, With SSD Install!

Jumper EZBOOK 3 PRO

While the Chuwi LapBook 12.3 seems to be the a very good deal and super easy to upgrade, the Jumper EZBook 3 Pro seems to be quite competitive! Considering the larger screen at 13.3 inches and the ability to put in an SSD drive quite easily this one certainly might be a great choice.

There are some downsides to this one such as the display being only 1920 x 1080 (FHD) but that is mighty darned good for a less than $300 notebook these days! In fact the current price of $229 makes it quite appealing! There are also a very limted number of the version with Dual band wireless for a mere $219!

So without further intro, here is the video review, with some SSD install advice, from Andrew over at AMDTech!

That is all for now,

Tim

Today’s Video Worth Sharing: Jumper Ezbook 3 Pro

Today’s video worth sharing comes to us from Chris over at techtablets.com. This one is on the Jumper Ezbook 3 Pro. A 13.3 inch notebook/laptop with an Apollo Lake CPU and excellent build quality.

So without further into here is the video.

I also recommend watching his un-boxing video as it shows you where the M2 SATA SSD drive connects.

That is all for now,

Just Taking a Peek at Some Newer Notebooks/Laptops, HP Spectre X360 With the Kaby Lake CPU

I prefer all my devices have mobility, even including my Zotac PC, which because of its built in wireless, can literally be plugged in anywhere in the house and still act as a web server.

So today I was pondering, perhaps a new notebook? Nothing wrong with the Asus X553SA, but logic says, sell it and replace it while it is still relevant.  So below is a review I found on the Inter-web, via YouTube and it is quite positive.

Feedback would be appreciated as usual, although I am betting that none of the 8 new users on the site will do a thing but continue their feeble attempts to hack the site….

I found the video below on YouTube and if you are into tablets and laptops, you really should subscribe to this channel. The reviews are honest, although sometimes nit-picky, but most importantly they are accurate.

That is all for this evening,

Tim
