Tonight’s Second Video Worth Sharing: Screen Captures Not Full Size? Add Some Borders!

Originally posted 2018-12-23 01:23:08.

Tonight we have a short tutorial on Openshot and The Gimp. Sometimes your screen capture program will not output the size you would like. Many times it will use the resolution of your monitor and not the exact size that is ideal.

The GPU generally uses the res provided to the monitor and therefore you may end up with some strange sizes as I do with 1152 x 720 being the output.

Of course when editing the video everything ends up restricted by this size limitation and you end up with some black bars on either side of the video.

This video describes how to get rid of those black bars with a simple background image with the actual video size made transparent inside the background image.

So let us get right to the video!

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2, UnBoxing And Review

Originally posted 2017-08-29 18:33:44.

Tonight’s video comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTechReviews and is the usual very well done, thorough review of the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2. This is a convertible laptop that offers some excellent specs and lots of nifty features.

This is one very solid convertible device and comes with plenty of ports and 8GB ram as tested with 128GB storage.

It really does offer a lot of bang for the buck considering the ports available and just how powerful it is.

Specs are as follows:

  • Screen Size: 13.3 inches
  • Display type: IPS FHD 1920 x 1080
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Storage: SSD 128 GB
  • OS: Win 10 Pro
  • WiFi: 802.11 a/b/c/g/n/ac (Dual Band)
  • Processor: 7th Generation Intel Core i5-7200U

So on that note let us get to the video!

I found this version on Amazon for $1149.24.

That is all for now,

Tim

Today’s Video Worth Sharing: Top 4 Budget Phones? Perhaps If You Help Us Find a FULL Honor 8X Review!!

Originally posted 2018-10-12 18:06:15.

This video is all about asking for help to find a full review of of the Honor 8X smartphone. We already know the specs and they look great! The price seems to be reasonable, but we are searching for a thorough review from a North American reviewer so I can perhaps add this to my list of recommended budget smartphones for 2018.

The Honor 8X looks great on paper and I have posted up a video already of one hands on review from Ben over at ben’s gadget reviews. But his was not a full on nit-picky, every detail review.

I have found several others out there but from sources that appear to be more hype than truth. Sure the product will eventually get released on Amazon here in the USA, but by then, it may be too late to provide all the detailed info in advance.

So check out the video below and leave a comment if you know where to find a good honest full detailed review. Leave those comments on YOUTube, not here! I am asking for links and if you include a hyperlink on this site it is auto-deleted by the security software, sorry but blame the spammers for this policy.

Please watch and like the video below and subscribe to our channel!

It is Time For Another Video Worth Sharing: Teclast X3 Plus Review

Originally posted 2017-04-23 21:11:23.

Teclast X3 Plus

The Teclast X3 Plus appears to be a fairly decent product although it has some drawbacks, especially when it comes to battery life. Of course it has a nice super fast Celeron, Apollo Lake processor and a decent display.

The short list of specs are:

  • CPU: Intel Celeron N3450  Quad Core running at 1.1 Ghz
  • GPU::Intel HD Graphics 500
  • 6 GB RAM
  • Display is 1920 x 1080 (FHD), 11.6 inch

So I will let you get all the details from Chris over at Techtablets.com just by watching this handy video!

That is all for this evening,

Tim

Time Once Again For a Video Worth Sharing: Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro, 15.6 Inch Notebook

Originally posted 2017-11-18 22:52:47.

We now have another review of the Mi Notebook Pro 15.6 inch notebook (okay you purists, laptop) This one comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTechReviews and as usual I highly recommend subscribing to his YouTube channel!

Sure we have had quite a few reviews on this one, but what the hell, one more full review is better than one too few.

This is a premium notebook with high end specs and considering the price, is a much better deal than many other high end  notebooks.

So all that being said, I will mention that you can find the other reviews I have posted by using the search function here or simply by selecting the category of videos on the left side of the screen if you are on a PC, so now let us get to the video…

You can find this product at this link.

That is all for now,

Tim
