Today’s Video Worth Sharing: Gooseneck Mount Work Around – If It Was a Snake It Would Have Bit Me!

The other day I received my desk edge mounted gooseneck mouse  accessory. I did a video, posted an article here and the only open question was how to mount the smartphone with the holder being vertical and the phone being horizontal.

I did mention I was going to need to shim it somehow. While my current phone has a center positioned camera, future phones will more than likely have them to the left or right.

So I was still searching about for a good solid shim device and I spotted one from my seat here in front of the PC.

I realized that my tablet charger for either my Chuwi HiBook or Hi12 was just the right width!

So without further explanation, below you will find the video.

Today’s Video Worth Sharing: Budget Phone Overload

Today I did a video on a subject that was also covered by Ben over at ben’s gadget reviews a few days ago. We have both reached similar conclusions on the fact that the Chinese smartphone companies are releasing new phones at far too high a rate.

This creates a market that has a brand  having 3-4 smartphones all with similar specs at nearly the same price and very few reviewers who are willing to do all these budget phone reviews.

This becomes exceedingly confusing for folks trying to find the perfect phone in their budget range. Sometimes you will find the perfect phone and wait a fews before ordering, only to find out there are 3 more similar phones from the likes of Nubia, Meizu, Doogee, Xiaomi, etc.

The “flagship” phones are an easier group to keep track of, because there are simply only a few models in total out there and the Samsung, Apple, Huawei, LG top end stuff does not get updated more than once per year.

This is why I am only recommending 3 budget phones so far this year. I can’t possibly keep up, especially when I do all my stuff based on specs and research of hands on reviews.

So in the video below I actually make a recommendation about flagships and try to explain why the heavy hitter YouTubers tend to focus on the top of the line stuff. (Take a guess why? Yeah, money).

The video is long, but worth watching, so let us get to it right now…

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: Finally Some Hands On Review Tech!

Starting a YouTube channel can be a laborious project. It requires small steps before making big gains and often times the creator has to supply all the equipment.

So tonight, since we have nowhere near enough subscribers to get my hands on stuff to test I spents a few bucks and in roughly a week we will have an item I need and one to run an actual hardware review on!

It may not seem like much, but it is a step in the right direction!

So all that being said, check out the video below and then Like the video and subscribe if you have not already!

Today’s Video Worth Sharing: PocoPhone F1 Finally Being Taken Seriously!

Back on August 25th I did a video on our YouTube Channel here about the PocoPhone F1 and the incredible price versus specs!

That video will be linked in the video I am showing you today. This one concerns the significance of a “heavy hitter” on YouTube actually decided to use the PocoPhone F1 as his daily driver. Most of the busier YouTube sites tend to focus on the high end, super overpriced stuff that Samsung, Apple, Huawei feed these reviewer/Tech types.

Reality is quite often overlooked as to the fact that these so called flagships cost far more than their value except to those easily misled by the hypeor in need of fantastic cameras or some other special feature. Today Lew from Unbox Therapy further upset the apple cart by deciding to use a PocoPhone F1 budget phone as his daily driver.

So watch the video, like the video, leave comments on the video and subscribe!

This Morning’s Video Worth Sharing: A Followup On The PocoPhone F1, There Are A Lot Of Sloppy Reviewers Out There!

There are a lot of reviews on the PocoPhone F1 out there right now. Most have 1 thing in common, reviewers/unboxers who did not do their research. In other words they fail, and simply became a marketing shill for Xiaomi.

Some did a very good review, but with one exception today, they were all spouting off about a killer $300 phone as they showed you a $429 version! I do not like sloppy work, so I am calling them out!

I am certain that most of their loyal subscribers won’t notice the glaring error since I did not really pic k up on it until early yesterday afternoon. This was no accident on Xiaomi’s part, they sent them their best version without mentioning the $129 price difference. But had any of them done some checking they would have spotted the issue immediately.

So watch the video below for the whole story…
