Today’s First Video Worth Sharing: I Need This Phone! NUU G3 5.7 Inch Review!

All too often we are captivated by the looks and pricing of so called “flagship” phones and we fail to realize there are a lot of less expensive, high quality, phones out there on the market!

The NUU G3 is one of those phones and the video below comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTech. This is a top notch performer and the price comes in at under $200! No, it is not a replacement for the techno-idiots who must have “more horsepower”, but it will get the job done and at the price you simply can’t beat the specs!

Perhaps I will one day get one of these, so I can do a giveaway on my BLU Studio Energy 2  phone, which is smaller, has an AMOLED display and a HUGE 5000 mAh battery, but it does need updating.

So let us move on to the video from Andrew and make sure to check out his channel which is ro say the least fantastic!

That is all I have at this moment, except to remind folks about the new YouTube channel we have and to ask folks to donate or send products to test!

Tonight’s Second Video Worth Sharing: The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Smartphone Full Review

My regular visitors, all 10 or so of you, may remember that I posted an initial unboxing from Chris over at TechTablets on this smartphone.

You can find that initial review right here.  So make sure to check that one out also!

The bottom line here is that Chris likes this phone at its price point which is considered to be budget, but the camera on the back is good and the fingerprint reader is good and all things considered this one may well be worth the price!

The detailed specs overall are good, so I am not going to waste your time reading since you can get them all from the video!  I would however wait for the Global ROM so you can get all the 4G LTE bands if you are in the USA.

So let us get right to it, and make sure to check out the TechTablets channel for the latest in tech reviews!

That should be all for now, except to ask folks to visit my new YouTube channel,

Tim

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: The Sony Xperia XZ2

Today we  have a video from Linus over at TechLineHD and he is reviewing the Sony Xperia XZ2. This is a flagship class device and is actually pretty darned good!

Of course it is expensive and of course I will not be buying one, but it is still a very good phone with great cameras, good battery life and a powerful  Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. It can be found on Amazon for about $828 right now.  I know, Ouch!

But all that being said it has some great specs a great display, excellent cameras and many other cool features.

So let us skip right on over to the video and make sure you check out the TechLineHD channel on Youtube and subscribe for all sorts of great honest reviews on a wide variety of tech products!

That is all I have at this moment,

Tim

Tonight’s Video(s) Worth Sharing: The Huawei P20 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Smartphones

Today most of my favorite tech reviewers were going nuts over the new Huawei P20 Pro smartphone. So at the end of this post I will post a few of those videos. However I am now going to rant a bit before I post said videos.

I will soon be starting up my own channel and you will never see me being a schill for these huge companies that live off of the desire of the masses to keep up with the Jones’.  I absolutely only provide info because I know folks are interested, but when it comes to long and detailed posts, you will find me recommending what works.

I don’t care if a phone or a tablet or a notebook feels premium, I simply care what a piece of technology can do for me. I also care about providing info not based on feelings/looks/latest trends, instead I look to provide viable info so that you can pick out the right product and or learn how to fix/upgrade or otherwise implement basic workarounds for your far less costly products.

If your smartphone is painted with Krylon, will it work less efficiently? Ask yourself that twice before answering, “Aw, hell no!”. If your smartphone comes in an ugly color will AT&T or Verizon not put through your calls? “Aw hell no!”.

If your notebook/laptop has an ugly logo, will it function differently? “Aw, hell no!”. If you can’t edit videos and play games on your PC/notebook and you do not do either, does it make a difference? “Aw, Hell no!”.

If you are not getting the point , skip down and watch the videos below, because they may be of interest to your brainwashed, mass market minds. (no offense here folks, perhaps one day you will remember this rant and say, wow, that guy was sooooo damned right!).

Okay, let us proceed to those cool videos on the latest phones, but keep in mind what I have said and listen for the cues about “premium feel” and ignore them. Concentrate only on performance and then think about whether or not you need one. If you are part of the 15% who do, yay for you!

Okay, in no particular order, here they are…keep in mind, I like all these reviewers, but sometimes, I just get annoyed by mass marketing!

The next 2 are from Ben’s Gadgets and he redeems himself with the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S review….

That is all I have have have for this this evening,

Tim
