The New Zotac Mini-PC Absolutely Destroys the Old Dell Optiplex with a Very Good WD 1TB Hard Drive

Originally posted 2017-02-21 22:37:31.

I know I posted some disk drive speed tests when I first got the Zotac CI323 Mini-PC with a nifty Silicon Power 240GB SSD.

The bottom line here… the Dell and the Western Digital drive are absolutely no match in a straight up  drive test. The numbers are not even close! Obviously we are comparing a much old Dell to a PC that is much faster, but still…

Well I won’t say anything more… here are the Disk scores…incidentally, the Zotac, scored just about the same as the first time I tested it.

Here are the first tests on the Zotac SSD….

The results above are almost uncanny, truly coincidental and I have no clue why they are identical, although I am not complaining.

That covers testing for tonight,

Tim

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: Why A Simple MicroSD Card Might Be More Than You Think

Today we are talking microSD cards and a little about the Chuwi HiBook 10.1 inch tablet. Cool inexpensive microSD and a very slick little, but older tablet.

A new microSD card for your phone isn’t really a big deal. Unless you need that smaller microSD card for your old tablet, which was the case today.

You see I can no longer access Win 10 on this tablet since the last creators update wiped out all the admin accounts! So that means the only useful portion is the Android portion of the tablet which has a mere 9.5 oGB or so free.

Hence my burning need for that 32 GB microSD card inside my NUU Mobile G3 which got itself a 128 GB card in return.

So below you will find the video I shot today giving you a bit more detail. Please make sure to give it a thumbs up and share it!
