Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: The Dell XPS 15 After 2 Weeks

Originally posted 2018-05-16 18:48:13.

This one comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTech and covers the latest Dell XPS 15 2 in 1 laptop/tablet/convertible device.

It comes packed with a lot of features like the Intel Core i7-8705G processor and 16 gb ram, along with 256 GB of SSD storage.

It is fast, looks great, has a fantastic display and does most everything well. However it has a few downsides such as battery life and the web cam placement, watch the video to learn the details on those.

It will do a very respectable job of playing games and can obviously do well at any business application you throw at it.

So let us get right to that video!

FNF Ifive Mini 4SF

Once again we have a short review of a tablet worth sharing. This one is on a budget tablet called the FNF iFive Mini 4S. This is a budget  7.9 inch tablet with an extremely good display, decent storage and very good performance.

It is currently available from Gearbest.Com for only $129. I have listed the specs on it below:

  • Android 6.0 Operating System
  • CPU: RK3288 Quad Core 1.8GHz
  • 7.9 inch IPS 10-points Capacitive Screen with 2048 x 1536 Resolution
  • 2 GB RAM
  • microSD slot supports 128 GB

So those are the basic specs. For more details watch this review courtesy of AMDtech.

That is all,

Tim

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing, The Chuwi SurBook Mini Full Review

Originally posted 2018-01-30 17:56:03.

This evening’s video comes to us from Chris over at TechTablets and covers the Chuwi SurBook Mini tablet PC.

This is a 10.8 inch tablet with the following specs:

  • Display- fully laminated, 1920 x1280
  • Intel Celeron N3450 Apollo Lake CPU
  • 4 GB RAM
  • 64 GB on-board eMMC 5.1
  • microSD slot, supports up to 128 GB
  • 2 full size USB 3.0 ports
  • 1 USB-C 3.0 port
  • option keyboard/cover
  • stylus support, but very low end
  • 8000 mAh battery

For me this one isn’t a whole lot better than my little Chuwi HiBook. Sure, it has the better processor, but  the display isn’t much better, 1920 x 1200 versus 1920 x 1280.  If you can still find a HiBook or HiBook Pro, buy it!

However I digress a bit, considering the point of this post is to share the video and let you decide!

So let us get right to the video.

This product is currently available at Gearbest for $274.

That is all for now,

Tim

Time Once Again For a Video Worth Sharing: Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro, 15.6 Inch Notebook

Originally posted 2017-11-18 22:52:47.

We now have another review of the Mi Notebook Pro 15.6 inch notebook (okay you purists, laptop) This one comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTechReviews and as usual I highly recommend subscribing to his YouTube channel!

Sure we have had quite a few reviews on this one, but what the hell, one more full review is better than one too few.

This is a premium notebook with high end specs and considering the price, is a much better deal than many other high end  notebooks.

So all that being said, I will mention that you can find the other reviews I have posted by using the search function here or simply by selecting the category of videos on the left side of the screen if you are on a PC, so now let us get to the video…

You can find this product at this link.

That is all for now,

Tim

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: The Lenovo MiiX 630 2 in 1 Tablet PC on Snapdragon 835 Review

Originally posted 2018-07-16 19:42:43.

This video comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTech and is quite a thorough and honest review of this device.

This is a 2 in 1 tablet PC running Windows 10 on Arm and it does have some serious limitations. While the idea is great, it just isn’t quite perfected at this time. The price is also rather steep at $899. Their may be a niche market for these, but personally, the LTE connectivity, while handy doesn’t make up for the lack of WiFi.

There are some very nice features here, no doubt, but in the end this one is a little before Win 10 on Arm is anywhere near perfect.

So let us get right to that promised video where you can see all the specs and benchmarks and pros and cons from Andrew! Make sure to subscribe to his channel as he always does great honest reviews and pulls no punches.
