Tonight’s Second Video Worth Sharing: Google Pixel 3 XL Review: The Smartphone Camera King

Tonight’s second video comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTech and covers the Google Pixel 3XL.

The Google Pixel 3 XL comes with many great flagship specs, but primarily it is the camera that simply blows the competition away.

This is certainly a top notch phone, although far out of my price range, but this is still a great review!

So of course they will be folks who disagree and yes the price is outrageous but it comes with all the extra’s that Apple charges extra for such as a fast charger, the USB to headphone dongle and a set of headphones!

As usual make sure to visit Andrew’s channel and subscribe for more great info!

Let us proceed now to that video!

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air (2018),Hands on Detailed First Impressions

Originally posted 2018-02-02 18:15:07.

Tonight we have a video from Chris over at TechTablets on the new version of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air for 2018.

This version sports most of the same hardware as last years model, with a few improvements such as the CPU. This one has the newer Intel Kaby Lake-R quad core CPU (8th gen) and is faster, much faster.

It also includes 8 GB ram in the unit in the video although I understand that there is a 16 GB RAM version coming soon.

It has a very nice 1920 x 1080 IPS display, decent speakers and a precision touch pad. In addition it offers 2 full size USB 3.0 ports and a USB-C 3.1 port for charging, data and video out and also a full size HDMI output port.

With 256 GB SSD storage and room for expansion this device is quite appealing.  This review also takes a peek at the internals and gives us some Geekbench scores and some thermals info. There will be a full review in roughly a week or so.

So I advise checking out the TechTablets channel and subscribing if you like this kind of tech info. So let us proceed to the video!

This one is available on Geekbuying.com currently at $959.99.

That is all I have for now,

Tim

Let Us Review The Basics of This Fine Tablet… (The Dragon Touch X10)

Originally posted 2016-02-28 01:10:34.

61oSDuBYzgL._SL1000_It does everything well and it works great, with a few minor glitches on the version I have. So those are covered elsewhere in this blog, so moving on lets look at the list of the stuff it does very, very well!

  1. IMG_20160228_004951 The display is great, very bright and perfect for watching videos and movies!
  2. It has a full size standard USB port which allows me to use a cordless mouse, or any other USB device, including a flash drive!
  3. It cost less than 1/3 of the next least expensive tablet to setup and use with a nice LogiTech Keyboard (K480) and either a plugin or wireless mouse (both Logitech in my case, hence the nickname “LogiTab”.
  4. The battery life is outstanding.
  5. It can process an 8 minute video and add music to it in less than 2 min. (Using AndroPro Video App).
  6. Did I mention it has a built in screen capture recorder for video? Yeah, it does!
  7. This tablet can be a tablet like any normal tablet, but once combined with the K480 Bluetooth keyboard and the Logitech mouse, it becomes just as good as ANY overpriced 10 inch notebook, such as a MicroCrap Surface.
  8. Have I mentioned that you can also plug in a micro USB to full USB adapter and stuff works? Yeah, it’s that cool!
