Just Taking a Peek at Some Newer Notebooks/Laptops, HP Spectre X360 With the Kaby Lake CPU

Originally posted 2017-02-01 00:11:06.

I prefer all my devices have mobility, even including my Zotac PC, which because of its built in wireless, can literally be plugged in anywhere in the house and still act as a web server.

So today I was pondering, perhaps a new notebook? Nothing wrong with the Asus X553SA, but logic says, sell it and replace it while it is still relevant.  So below is a review I found on the Inter-web, via YouTube and it is quite positive.

Feedback would be appreciated as usual, although I am betting that none of the 8 new users on the site will do a thing but continue their feeble attempts to hack the site….

I found the video below on YouTube and if you are into tablets and laptops, you really should subscribe to this channel. The reviews are honest, although sometimes nit-picky, but most importantly they are accurate.

That is all for this evening,

Tim

This Morning’s Video Worth Sharing: HP Spectre x360 15 (Gem-Cut): Coffee Lake + NVIDIA GTX 1050ti with Max Q

This one comes to us from Andrew over at AMDtech and is another great unboxing and short review of a super device that is worth a serious look!

The HP Spectre X360 Gem Cut version is a killer 2 in 1 or convertible notebook (laptop), and it is looking like a product that really has some fantastic features.

The specs are great, the usefulness of the product is to put it mildly, outstanding and the price, although a bit high, is still completely reasonable.

I won’t bore you with the specs because Andrew is going to give you all those details in the video.

So make sure to visit his channel and subscribe if you like this type of content!

Let us now proceed at once to the video before my lousy typing screws up an otherwise nicely written article…

This is an Apollo Lake Celeron N3450  powered notebook with 4 GB of RAM and some good options for updating the 64GB  eMMC storage by adding an SSD.

A few of the specs are:

  • Intel Celeron N3450
  • 4 GB RAM
  • USB C and 2 USB full size 3.0 ports
  • microSD slot

So all that being said, let us get to the video!

That is all for this evening, currently,

Tonight’s First Video Worth Sharing: HP Spectre x360 13t (Poseidon Blue) Unboxing: Whiskey Lake with New Gem-Cut Design

This one comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTech and is the usual, as always slick production that we always get, on the latest HP Spectre X360 13 inch model!

This is a great lightweight device with all the features you could dream of in a laptop/notebook, but in this case a convertible devoe!

The price isn’t cheap, but neither are the features! This is a fantastic machine considering the cost and although not perfect, it will get the job done!

So without me chattering on in text, let us get right to that great video and make sure to subscribe to Andrew’s channel over on YouTube!

So let us proceed to that video right now!
