Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: We Actually Gained about 6 Subscribers!

If you have been reading this web site for the last few months you would know that we actually are now in synch with our new video channel! Sure we post a lot of other videos but we always try to get our latest videos posted here also!

Today I was pleasantly surprised to see a few new subscribers to our channel! Of course I also had a bit of news on the priorities here shifting just a bit due to a slight issue with my BLU Studio Energy 2 phone.

I will leave all the details to that for the video to explain. Suffice to say a replacement phone is in order soon, although mostly due to my own paranoia about older tech with almost zero problems. Crazy? Yep! But that is just me so, check out the video below and make sure to like/share/subscribe!

That is all for now, except please subscribe to our channel or click those big donation buttons on the website here!

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: BLU Studio Energy 2 Did Have a Virus!

A few days back I mentioned restoring the BLU Studio Energy 2 phone back to factory defaults and yes it was a long arduous process. Today however I may have discovered why.

Yeah, it looks like there was a virus on it and that virus has now been cleaned/destroyed/defeated! Well, at least for now!

So there isn’t a lot I need to explain that you can’t find out from watching the video below. Perhaps you might even learn something!

That is all for now, except please subscribe to our channel or click those big donation buttons on the website here!

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: A Scary Day For Me And The BLU Studio Energy 2, I Thought It Was Dead!

When your tech devices die it can be an agonizing reality, especially if you don’t have a spare device around that can do the same job! Today I thought I had run into that scenario!

However persistence and just plain stubborness paid of about 10 hours later with a nicely resurrected smartphone with a few spare GB’s of storage space and your’s truly here quite happy to be back in business!

However I still need a new phone and this brought that reality home! So perhaps some manufacturer or some kind soul can send me a decent 5.7 inch, 18:9 smartphone with at least Android 7.1 for testing? My tests last roughly 2 years and result in dozens of articles over that time period…hint, hint, Nuu Mobile USA, that G3 seems perfect!

Okay here is the entire saga in a relatively short video, at least compared to the almost 10 hrs of “fix” time on the BLU Studio Energy 2.

Another High End-Cheap Tech Video: This One Covers How I do Stuff At Work!

Tonight we have another video from your’s truly and it covers how I get stuff done at work. I actually did this for our dealership channel but added a small preface to explain why I am sharing it here and on my new YouTube Channel.

It is pretty basic and straight to the point. Bottom line is you can use older gear and get the job done and it will look alright!

There really isn’t a lot to explain here before the video, although it was all done on on my Zotac Ci323, supposedly inferior Nano-Box PC.

So let us get right to the video, because I am sure you are on pins and needles…..okay, probably not, but watch it and visit the Channel and look at the links to where I work and check them out also! You will also find them at the end of this post.

So without further rambling, here is the video!

That is all for tonight,

Tim

Chromecast and an Inexpensive Phone Are An Excellent Way to Watch TV When The Cable Provider Decides to Have an Outage!

So yesterday while watching the British Open the cable company suddenly loses the feed from NBC.  Oh my, disaster had struck and the cable company had failed again!

This is not a new situation around here and they always seem to have an excuse, the reality being that they don’t know how to do their jobs.

But since my internet was still available I pulled out my Chromecast, plugged it in to the TV and then downloaded and installed the NBC Sports app onto my BLU Studio Energy 2 phone. Less than a minute later I was once again watching the Open.

Suffice to say the Chromecast I bought earlier this year has been worth every penny I paid for it.

That is all for today,

Tim
