Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: The Lenovo MiiX 630 2 in 1 Tablet PC on Snapdragon 835 Review

This video comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTech and is quite a thorough and honest review of this device.

This is a 2 in 1 tablet PC running Windows 10 on Arm and it does have some serious limitations. While the idea is great, it just isn’t quite perfected at this time. The price is also rather steep at $899. Their may be a niche market for these, but personally, the LTE connectivity, while handy doesn’t make up for the lack of WiFi.

There are some very nice features here, no doubt, but in the end this one is a little before Win 10 on Arm is anywhere near perfect.

So let us get right to that promised video where you can see all the specs and benchmarks and pros and cons from Andrew! Make sure to subscribe to his channel as he always does great honest reviews and pulls no punches.

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: Full Review of The Lenovo Yoga 730 13.3 inch 2 in 1 Notebook

Tonight we have a video review of the Lenovo Yoga 13.3 Inch, 2 in 1 notebook. This one comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTech.

The device has an excellent display, and performs very well except for battery life which isn’t terrible, but could be a bit better.

As tested it has:

  • 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-8250U Processor
  • 13.3″ FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS multi-touch anti-glare
  • 8 GB DDR4 2400MHz
  • 128GB Solid State Drive PCIe
  • 4 Cell Li-Polymer 48Wh
  • Camera 720p HD
  • Lenovo Wireless AC (2 x 2

So those are very decent specs considering the price point of $799. This certainty isn’t a budget device but it is a boatload less expensive than an HP or Dell.

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: The Dell XPS 15 After 2 Weeks

This one comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTech and covers the latest Dell XPS 15 2 in 1 laptop/tablet/convertible device.

It comes packed with a lot of features like the Intel Core i7-8705G processor and 16 gb ram, along with 256 GB of SSD storage.

It is fast, looks great, has a fantastic display and does most everything well. However it has a few downsides such as battery life and the web cam placement, watch the video to learn the details on those.

It will do a very respectable job of playing games and can obviously do well at any business application you throw at it.

So let us get right to that video!

First Video Worth Sharing Today! The Dell XPS 15 2 in 1 Convertible!

This one comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTech and is the unboxing and initial impressions. I have watched one other video on this device and it seems to have 1 minor flaw and that is battery life (but let us wait for confirmation).

However, it has a great display, touch screen panel and the usual Dell quality.  It is plenty powerful enough for your daily workload and has a lot of ports!

No it is not inexpensive, but it certainly isn’t overpriced as some other notebooks, with far fewer ports.

So let us get right to the video after I remind you to check out Andrew’s channel on YouTube and remember to like it and subscribe!

That is all for now,

Tim

The Second Video Worth Sharing Today: The Full Review on the HP Envy X2 Win 10 on ARM 2 in 1 PC

This one comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTech and covers the details on the HP Envy X2 using Win10 on ARM.

The battery life is amazing but the new tech here suffers from, well, being bleeding edge, but not yet refined. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 works okay, but doesn’t handle 64 software at all.

As usual this is another well made, brutally honest review, which is why you should be subscribed to Andrew’s channel! We did post the initial impressions review a few weeks back and you can find that one right here.

So let us get right to that video and see what Andrew has to say!

That will about cover it for the moment,

Tim
