Tonight’s First Video Worth Sharing: Daysky D-Book Pro Budget Gaming Notebook

Our first video tonight is from Chris over at TechTablets and covers the Daysky D-Book Pro notebook. This is a tablet that does have some gaming capabilities.

As any regular visitor here knows I really don’t care about gaming, but if you are into this stuff, then here is the info!

The basics are as follows:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 OS
  • Intel Celeron N3450 Quad Core 1.1GHz, up to 2.2GHz
  • NVIDIA GeForce 940MX GPU
  • 6GB LPDDR3 RAM
  • 1920 x 1080 (FHD)  Display (IPS)
  • SSD Slot to make it a bit faster and expand storage

This is by no means a terrible notebook, but there are a lot better ones out there if you are really into gaming. I will put a link in near the end of this post, but, if you need a decent , lower cost 14.1 inch notebook then I still suggest the LapBook Air or Jumper EZBook 3 Pro.

So now we move on to the video.

This device is available on Gearbest for $396 as of this posting. As usual, be on the lookout for flash sales.

That is all I have for now,

Tim

Today’s Video Worth Sharing: Teclast F7, 14.1 Inch Notebook, Full Review

This afternoon we have a full review on the Teclast F7 notebook from Chris over at TechTablets. This one is an Apollo Lake N3450 powered 14.1 inch notebook with 6 GB of RAM and is quite the competent device.

No it isn’t the fastest or best notebook out there, but yes it is priced reasonably and has decent specs and battery life is good.

It has the following features (all the specs are in the video):

  • Celeron N3450 Processor
  • 1920 x 1080 (FHD)  IPS display
  • 64 GB on-board eMMC 5.1
  • microSD slot
  • SSD slot to add a Sata 3,  M2242 drive.
  • Excellent Cooling Properties

Currently it is available from several vendors but at a price much higher than mentioned in the video, the best being on Geekbuying at $295. So you might want to keep on the lookout for flash sales since it was available at one time for $219.

I am still thinking that the Chuwi Lapbook Air is a superior notebook, in this class, except the price on this makes it super tempting. Yeah, I just like the extra RAM on the Chuwi and the back-lit keyboard.

So I will leave it up to you to decide and here is the promised video.

That is all I have for now,

Tim

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: The Teclast F7 14.1 Inch Notebook Unboxing and Hands On

Tonight we have an unboxing and hands on on the latest Teclast F7 14.1 inch notebook PC. This is a very reasonably priced notebook that is currently on pre-sale at Gearbest for $299.

It has its good points and some bad points. 6 GB Ram and only a 64 GB eMMC storage capacity on-board are the bad points. Battery life also is a bit iffy, but of course we do not have a full review here.

The Gearbest site does not indicate if this has an SSD upgrade potential, which would sort of make the 64 GB on-board storage a moot point.

The basic specs are as follows:

  • Intel Celeron N3450 Apollo Lake Processor
  • 6 GB Ram
  • 14.1 inch Full HD 1920×1080 display

So without out anymore input from me let us head to the video. Yes, not a lot of data, but informative nonetheless!

That is all for this now,

Tim

Today’s Video Worth Sharing: Another Pretty Good Review Of The Chuwi LapBook Air

I am a huge fan of the notebook in this review and I will eventually be purchasing one. This review comes to us from Linus on the TechLineHD channel on YouTube.

He seems to be a very honest and straightforward reviewer and does point out the shortcoming of the device as well as all the reasons you might want to get your hands on one of these.

This notebook is still on sale at Banggood for roughly $380 so make sure to visit their site to see current pricing.

Be aware this is not a Dell or HP or Lenovo, but also be aware that the money you would save for a useful notebook over those high-end brands can get you a 256 GB SSD and perhaps a few hundred more in gasoline to fuel your car to get to work each day.

As I always try to do when sharing a video, I recommend this channel and I would highly suggest subscribing if you like this kind of tech info that is darned honest and gets to the point without the frills.

So all of that being said below you will find the video.

That is all for now,

Tim

Chuwi LapBook Air Still On Sale At BangGood: Excellent Budget Notebook At A Fair Price

I just thought I would point out that BangGood.com still has the Chuwi LapBook Air on sale for about 2 more days at $379!

Sure that is a bunch for a budget Apollo Lake N3450 based notebook, but if you need a 14.1 inch screen (FHD) that is fully laminated, 8 GB of RAM and a back- lit keyboard then this one is the ticket!

You can watch the video I shared a few weeks back showing off the 3 best budget laptops/notebooks right here.

Obviously it all comes down to what you need. All 3 of the notebooks I linked in the video above are great and all three are expandable via an M.2 SSD slot. While the Jumper EZBook 3 Pro is considerably cheaper, that is for the 64 GB onboard storage version, with a smaller screen, while the Chuwi LapBook Air sports a reasonably fast 128 GB eMMC on-board. Now if you throw in a 128 GB SSD M.2 you suddenly have a very respectable 256 GB storage, in addition to the microSD card slot.

No, none of those mentioned in the link above are gaming laptops and they are not going to be super fast with processor intensive apps but if you just need to use it for documents, web surfing, photo editing, the the LapBook Air will get the job done for hundreds less than a Dell or a Xiaomi or a Huawei, etc.

You might see the links in the ads on this site but make sure to use this one to find the Banggood site, since I still am running ads for Gearbest, since prices vary wildly from week to week.

That is all I have for now,

Tim
