Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: Sony Xperia XA 2 Ultra 1080p.60fps

This one comes to us from Anthony over at myproject13 on YouTube. It is just a short quick video showing off the camera recording at 10p/60fps on the Sony Xperia XA 2 Ultra.

He does offer some insights as to pricing and also mentions some info on the new Samsung S9/S9+ as far as pricing and trade in deals.

The Sony is a great product but appears to have some shortcomings considering the price.

But I will let you folks decide. Remember to subscribe to Anthony’s channel if you are in to smartphones.

Now let us get right to that video,

That is all I have at this time,

Tim

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing is a Dual Post: The Latest Sony Smartphone and a Throwback to Why I Bought The Blu Studio Energy 2 Phone

I will preface the article right now and tell you only one small bit of advice, you need to watch this guy’s channel on YouTube if you want some totally honest reviews of smartphones. His name is Anthony and you can find his channel right here.

He is honest, nit-picky, which is good, but at the same time somewhat entertaining and quirky. I am going to link 2 videos from him below, the last one being the reason I bought the BLU Studio Energy 2 phone which I am using to this day.

If yo are really into smartphones, this guy will give you a different perspective than the folks who normally review  only the big brands.

Recently he reviewed the Sony Experia XA2 Ultra…

Here be the video I promised about the BLU Studio Energy 2….

That is all I have for now, besides asking folks to donate to the site so I can attempt to destroy another tablet or 3….,

Tonight’s Video: Major iPhone Bug Allows A Single Character to Crash Apps on iPhone and Macs

02/19/2018 Update:there is a fix for this flaw, check this post! Apparently this has been reported as of yesterday, but I just noticed it today.  Since a lot of folks own these devices I thought it best to pass on what I know.

The core of the issue is a single text character from the Indian language known as Telugu (that is the language). I won’t show you the character on here for fear of crashing some iPhone user’a phone or Mac notebook. More info is available here.

Suffice to say this bug could be pretty serious. Of course if you are an Android user this doesn’t affect you and if you happen to have some snooty friends who think there iPhone is the greatest thing since sliced bread, well, a short search on the Interwebs and, well you know I won’t tell you to do it, but, it could be funny…but please don’t.

It may seem like a great prank, but never forget payback is always a bitch.

Below is a video from the folks over at UnBox Therapy who I do find entertaining, but rarely share videos since they usually unbox and don’t do any thorough  in-depth testing. However the channel is entertaining! So check them out.

That is all for now,

Tim

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: The Huawei P Smart Review

Today I watched another great video from Linus over at TechLineHD on the Huawei P smartphone. This one appears to be a solid performer and offers very decent performance at a very low price.

Personally I am still considering the LeEco Pro 3 phone that I wrote about a few weeks back.

The phone has a great display, fast performance and does most things very well. It is not a phone for gamers, but one must ask, why in the hell are you playing 3D games on a phone anyway? The device sports some of the following specs:

  • 5.65-inch with Fullview Full HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen
  • HiSilicon Kirin 659, Octa-core, Main Camera’s: DUAL 13MP+2MP, f/2.0, autofocus, LED flash; Front Camera: 8 MP
  • 32GB ROM, 3GB RAM. Finger Print Sensor.
  • 3000mAh Super Battery.
  • MicroSD slot up to 256GB

This is a GSM phone and can be used with AT&T and T-Mobile and other carriers using those carriers and using GSM.

So let us get right to the video, because that is why you are here…and make sure to subscibe to his channel if this stuff interests you!

That is all I have for now,

Tim
