A Technical Question Here For Hackers/Programming Geniuses…How to Show My Current Battery Status On The Web?

Originally posted 2016-04-26 16:33:36.

Drone_BatteryYeah, this might seem trivial to many folks, but it is a tech question of importance to me. What I need is either an app that could screenshot the tablet and post it immediately to an accessible directory on the server here or an API that would let me see my current battery status live.

The reasons why are multiple, but I won’t bother to explain them. However the possibility of doing this seems somehow to be extremely useful to myself.

So if you are one of those hacker types or just a genius programmer or you already know about an app, let me know! Register and post a comment or better yet, create a new post and let the world know!

Thanks!

Tim

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing! Chuwi LapBook Air Finally At A Good Price!

Chuwi LapBook Air

This is primarily a heads-up post to let folks know that the Chuwi Lapbook Air noteBook is finally down to a price most reviewers said it was worth!

It can now be found on Gearbest for the next 4-5 days at $350! That was the price many reviewers said it would be well worth it!

This device has a 14.1 inch full HD panel, and 8 GB RAM. It also sports a backlit keyboard and a microSD slot AND a hatch on the bottom to insert an M2 Sata 22.42 SSD drive!

There are plenty of other posts on this website concerning this but here below are the ones to read!

Here are a few other laptop notebook reviews that cover all of the ones I mentioned in the College Time Post.

Let us proceed on to the video, before Chuwi sells them all!

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: You Wake Up Tomorrow and Are Rich, What Tech Would You Buy?

This is sort of a curiosity video for me. I know what my choices would be and I will be pointing those out in the video. But…I really want to know just how crazy folks would go if they had a virtually unlimited budget for new tech!

So watch the video, see what I would pick and then visit our channel on YouTube so you can leave a comment and give us YOUR choices and the reasons why.

I am hoping for at least a few comments on the video just to see what folks would pick.

Obviously if you share the video, we might get even more comments!

Below you will find the links to all products I mentioned. Obviously you will have your own choices.

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: Unboxing and Review of The 10.8 Inch Huawei M5 Pro Tablet

This evening we have an unboxing and review of the Huawei MediaPad M5 Pro. This one comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTech and is, as usual, a great informative piece.

Like its smaller brother  the MediaPad M5 8.4 inch tablet this one has similar specs but a lot more screen real estate for media consumption. It has a few minor flaws but is still a premium device with the latest Android 8.1 and a stylus.

So I will quit chattering here and let you get right to the video.

Make sure to subscribe to the AMDTech channel if this kind of info interests you.

Another Video To Share: Zotac Ci323 Mini-PC Gets A Full Set Of Benchmarks

Today I installed and ran Cinebench, Passmark, Crystaldiskmark and Geekbench 4.0 on the little Zotac here. The results were similar to when it was purchased and the disk was clean a few years ago.

Below is a small gallery of the results of the test.

Having never run Passmark nor Cinebench I can’t even say if the results were good or horrible. But the numbers are here to look at!

Incidentally you can still get the Zotac Ci327 with the N3450 at Amazon for about $149! You can find the Zotac Ci327 at this link.

Below you will find the video we created yesterday evening as we ran these tests.
