The LogiTab

It isn’t the fastest notebook on earth, nor is the display huge, but it does one thing very well, and that is it is totally reliable and has great battery life.

I am always amazed at just how well it works with my LogiTech K480/LogiTech cordless mouse (I call that my LogiTab setup/mode). But the best part of this particular tablet is that you can actually hook up 2 USB devices quite easily. The full size USB 2.0 port is great for the mouse and the micro-USB port works great with my OTG cable that I purchased months ago, (that is what one would normally call a micro-standard USB adapter).

Even the new tablet that I am looking to get to run tests on, panic not, the Dragon Touch will remain, doesn’t have a micro and a full USB port.  There really aren’t that many with a full size USB port due to the quest for making tablets thinner, which, since I use the tablet mostly in “LogiTab” mode, doesn’t thrill me in the least. Sure the new tablets have USB C and that is great, it is faster and idiot proof, but when using peripherals such as a mouse or just moving files here and there, it simply isn’t necessary and it also requires you to purchase another adapter to use standard USB devices.

So it is only my 2 cents here, but for $119 on Amazon, this tablet is still a great deal!
