Tonight’s Double Feature Worth Sharing: Adapters AND Cases For the Nuu G3!

Hi there folks obviously I am doing a bit of catch-up work here. The first video in our list is from yesterday and I was simply too tired to post it! It concerns my acquisition of a nifty splitter that allow you to  use a headphone and a microphone with most any smartphone, in this case the Nuu Mobile G3.

Obviously there were some issues, but they are all covered in the video. You can get this nifty microphone/headphone splitter right here!

The second video released about 4 hours ago concerns the Nuu Mobile G3 and a nice case to fit it! You can find this perfect fitting Tudia Linn case over at Amazon. I bought the haze gray color, but it is also available in Blue and Black.

Watch them both and then like them on YouTube and leave feedback and share them! You might even want to subscribe!

Okay too much typing here, let us proceed at once to the videos!

What I Would Like To See On The New Chuwi LapBook Air

Originally posted 2017-08-30 18:52:10.

Just yesterday I posted up about the contest Chuwi is having to guess the price of the upcoming LapBook Air notebook.

That picture of the device on their site and the announcement of the contest is the only official word I have seen concerning this device at all. Sure I have read the rumors and the supposed specs, but there is actually nowhere I have found a confirmed list of specs and images.

Here is what we do know:

  • It is a 14.1 inch display
  • It appears to be all metal and very thin.

That’s it, everything else is speculation. But below is what I believe needs to be on this device to make it worthwhile, after all, the LapBook 14.1 is already a darned decent device although not a metal build, so here is what needs to be on this thing:

  • Minimum Intel N3450 or N4200 and a proper cooling arrangement of heat sink and fan if needed. (I am not asking for a gaming device here)
  • A display with super high resolution at least equal to the LapBook 12.3
  • 8 GB RAM. Please don’t half-ass this by only giving us 6 GB
  • a 128 GB SSD with a handy access cover on the bottom so we can easily upgrade this product.
  • a monster battery that will last at least 8 hrs, a minimum of 10,000 mAh…more is better,(please)
  • nice small or no bezels on the display.
  • 2 full size USB 3.0 ports, at least 1 USB-C port and perhaps a micro USB port also
  • micro HDMI port
  • microSD card slot
  • WiFi dual band a/b/g/n/ac using the latest Intel Chipset
  • some decent speakers, although I understand this is a notebook not a stereo system

Those are some of the things that must be on this device, sure there are some other features that would be cool such as a decent webcam, a fingerprint reader and perhaps a back-lit keyboard (that battery better be damned big!).

That is all I have at this time,

Tim

Today’s Video Worth Sharing: Make Certain To Order The Correct Audio Splitter!

When ordering simple items for your phone or PC, make sure to pay close attention! I ordered a Y-splitter the other day but failed to realize it was just for audio!

Had I looked a bit closer and not be quite so eager to save $2.00 I would be able to use a good mic on my Nuu Mobile G3, or even a headset/mic combo! Now I am stuck ordering another splitter! (Which I have done as of this posting).

Videos or Links Mentioned in the video:
A Proper Y-Splitter: https://amzn.to/2Mbu8Gg
The Audio only Y-Splitter: https://amzn.to/2MdbD4o

The lesson to be learned here is to take your time when ordering new tech items. Whether it be a cable and adapter or a new smartphone or tablet., do the research first before pulling the trigger.

So all that being said, check out the video below for all the details. And make sure to  share this video and visit our channel and subscribe!
