An Overly Long But Quite Interesting Video On How I Ended Up Doing YouTube Tech Videos

Today a very long video on how I ended up doing YouTube. I ended up re-editing this video twice because I kept forgetting to add images. Watch the whole thing folks! This video was shot on the Xiaomi MiA2 and edited on the MiA2 phone. If you are a creator look at the description below and check out tubeBuddy if you have not tried it yet!

This post is probably necessary everywhere, but in Western Kentucky it should be a MUST READ!

This is the turn signal stick!
This is the turn signal stick!

So you have been driving a car for several years and you always have wondered why the head lights were activated by a switch on a stalk rather than a normal switch on the dash.

Well morons….there is a reason. You see you can push that stalk (lever/stick) up or down and magically your DAMNED turn signal lights will blink, thereby warning the folks behind you that you intend to turn or change lanes! For the clueless twits amongst you, it is a law that you must indicate your intentions to adjust lane position or turn, well before you actually get to the point where you will perform such an action. Hence the name turn “signals”! Slamming on your brakes to make a turn and THEN turning on your signal is not only unacceptable/stupid and rude, it is illegal!

So now a simple explanation, especially written for the drivers in Western Kentucky…that little lever on the left side of 95% of all cars on the road needs you to move it either up, or down! Up for right, down for left. I know, this is an amazing revelation to you crackerheads, but that is how simple it is!

One more bit of advice, you need to do this every single time you’re turning left or right, whether it is from a driveway, into a driveway or just changing lanes. It really isn’t that hard to remember and if you have fingers on your left hand there simply is no excuse!

You may now return to your normal web surfing….

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: New Years Recipe For Tech, Sort Of

Originally posted 2018-12-31 22:23:13.

Tonight’s video title might have been a bit misleading, but of course that was the point! Not that the content wasn’t worthwhile, in fact I think it was worth doing the video!

But all too often we run into “hands on” video unboxings, that are really not worthwhile because the twit who made them uses lots of stock video from the mfg and provides zero extra info, nor is there a voice. These I give a thumbs down to, but of course I see the number of views and am always astounded that they get that sort of traffic.

So I am just seeing whether adding the word recipe into the title and also putting in tags referring to the recipe in the video generate ridiculous numbers of views.
By the way, the recipe is legit, cheap and what helps keep my budget low as I wait for folks to subscribe and share and participate!

I shot this using my handy gooseneck mount. Quite the handy tool!

Of course many folks will get upset with the video because they will feel mislead! That is what led me to make the video in the first place!

So let us get right to that video…

For the remainder of this Evening the Tablet Server will be on the Asus Z580CA, Just to show off How damned Good it is!

Originally posted 2016-05-24 02:33:11.

asus-z580caI am selling my Asus Z580CA, but don’t think for a minute that it is because it lacks anything in the way of speed reliability or versatility.

The simple reason is that I test tablets and have a zero budget most of the time and need the cash to move on to a dual boot test, to share with folks and learn more about Tablets in general.

So, this post should hopefully get someone to look at the ad that is linked by that scrolling message on top of the screen, if not you can click here.

I am Not Sure if Anyone Out There Has Noticed the Chuwi HiBook Price Reduction on Amazon

Originally posted 2016-09-14 00:52:06.

1463184918531512662I am aware from the ads I run on here that Amazon has reduced the price on the Chuwi HiBook 10.1 inch tablet to $199.99. That my fellow tablet nuts is a decent price!

If you avoid the pitfalls of purchasing the associated keyboard at an inflated price and get yourself a Bluetooth Keyboard, you will be one happy camper!

On the other hand, you may wish to consider the Chuwi HiBook Pro that is available on Gearbest.com currently for about 4 more days, for only $197.59! The difference? A better display resolution on the the Pro, with a 2048 x 1536 display and an 8000 mAh battery which should last a bit longer than the standard model which has a 6600 mAh battery.

The choice is yours folks, but right now is the time to buy one if you have been considering it!
